The Jewel of Isanti County
Spectacle Lake is 239 acres located between Princeton and Cambridge in Isanti County. It is 1 of 7 lakes in the county, with Green Lake right next to it. It is a spring fed lake with a sandy bottom, and it has over 20' of water clarity. People enjoy many water activities on this beautiful, clean, recreational lake.

There is a portable restroom, but there is no trash container. Please take your trash with you. There are boat inspectors Thurs-Sun.
The public landing and the public beach are both located on Cobalt Circle on "the point." Please drive slow and keep to the right, as it is a one way. There is No Parking along the road anywhere, only within the parking lots, or you may be ticketed.
County owned machine has liquid & weed vacuum, brush, air sprayer, & plug tool.
There are two picnic tables under the shelter, nice grass to sit on, & roped off swimming area in the water. Parking is very limited-just a few cars. No Pets allowed.
No pets are allowed at the beach. Wyanett Township usually has a beach attendant there when the beach is open.
Beach opens Memorial weekend, closes Labor Day weekend.
The gate will be closed & locked when the beach is not open. No illegal parking or you will be towed.
Loons are a protected species, so please keep a safe distance from them. We treasure these beautiful loons! We also have several eagles nesting nearby, so you will often see them out fishing and flying in the area, as well.

Our lake residents decorate their boats & pontoon boats to celebrate the 4th of July. The categories are: Children's theme, Patriotic theme, and top 3 overall. Come out & watch the parade at 2:00pm & enjoy!
If you have lost an item, please post it on Facebook and residents will keep an eye out for it. You may also send us an email on the form at the bottom of this site, and we will try to get lost items back to you.
We have a Neighborhood Watch program around the lake & residents keep an eye out for various issues that arise. The county sheriffs also patrol often, both on the lake & off the lake.
Please read the signs at the landing and beach, as well as know the safety rules & DNR rules for MN.

2023 - Dues are $30.00 per year, due October 1st. We ask an additional $25.00 or more to be donated towards testing, surveys, & the treatment of invasive weeds.
